This is between the landlord and the tenant. When the contract is due you can always reach out and ask for an extension. If the landlord or the tenant wishes to terminate the contract before the last day of the rental period they need to find a solution together. If there is a breach of contract, misuse of property etc we recommend you to solve the problems with lawyers.
The deposit, chosen by the landlord and clearly stated in the contract, will be deducted when you pay your first rent. It will then stay with Epicasa the whole rental period for safe keeping. The landlord then has up to 10 days after the tenant has moved out to prove that there is a need to keep the deposit. If not, it will be paid back fully. This provides safety for both landlords and tenants and is truly the best solution on the market.
